NTRC
National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (NTRC)

NTRC is Saint Lucia's wired and wireless communication certification system. Type approval must be obtained from NTRC when exporting wired and wireless communication devices such as wired telephone sets, GSM phones, fax machines or mobile radios to Saint Lucia. Documents which need to be submitted include an application form, letter of authorization, test report, technical documentation, user manual, and device photos; these documents must be submitted in person. In addition to the original application form, other documents may be submitted in CD or in a Hard Copy format.

After the report and application documents are handed in to NTRC, approval will be completed after document review. NTRC recognizes reports (FCC, Industry Canada, ETSI, ANSI, ITU-RD, etc.) from international standards issued by overseas accredited testing laboratories. For new application products, the application fee is EC$500.00.

Cellular, cordless, landline telephone sets and GSM telephones, fax machines, mobile radios, modems, wireless remote devices, PABX (including small and medium business and major systems), pagers, radio receivers and transmitters, satellite earth stations, telecommunications switching equipment, telex equipment, equipment that emits wireless signals
