Superintendence of Electricity and Combustible Fuels (SEC)
SEC is Chile’s Electric Safety and Energy Efficiency standard. Regulated products in Chile must undergo safety and energy efficiency tests locally, and require a local importer with their information. In addition, they would need to manage their own shipping inspections.
Target Products:
Refrigerators, washing machines, printers, home theaters, TVs, set-top boxes, DVD players, etc.

In accordance with Decree 755, 403, all wireless and telecommunications products in Chile must be certified by SUTEL.

Wireless devices using 2.4-2.483, 5Ghz, 5.725-5850 Ghz frequencies, RFID equipment, vehicle radar equipment, NCF equipment, etc.
