Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (SUPERTEL)
SUPERTEL is Ecuador's wireless and telecom certification standard. Equipment and terminals connected to public networks or wireless devices with a power value of over 50mW are subject to compulsory certification by SUPERTEL through a local agent.
- Target items :
All terminal devices which can connect to public or mobile networks and wireless devices with an output power of 50 mW or more (cell phones, public telephones, devices using satellite networks)
Products with an output of less than 50mW are not subject to compulsory certification.
