TELCOR
Nicaraguan Institute of Telecommunications and Postal Services (TELCOR)

TELCOR is Nicaragua's wired and wireless communication certification system. All wired and wireless communication devices connected to or using the telecommunication network which are for sale, use and operation in Nicaragua must obtain an approval certificate from the Nicaraguan telecommunications authority, TELCOR (Instituto Nicaragüense de Telecomunicaciones y Correos). All application documents (application form, product brochure, manual, pictures of the device, etc.) must be written in Spanish in order to be handed in. If the product already has a certificate and report issued by an overseas testing laboratory or certification body, the applicant must write down the certificate and report information in the application form; for this case, a separate sample test is not required.
