NFNU
National Frequency Management Unit (NFMU)

NRMU is Guyana's Wired and wireless communication certification system. All telecommunications devices connected to public telecommunications networks within Guyana must comply with relevant regulations and must be approved by the Guyana Telecommunications Control Authority. Guyana's communication equipment certification body is NFMU, and since Guyana doesn’t have their own test laboratory, a report from an accredited test laboratory according to international standards is required. Once the report and application documents from an internationally accredited testing laboratory such as FCC is submitted to NFMU, an approval letter will be issued after reviewing the documents.
