NTA
Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) is Nepal’s Wired and Wireless communication certification; all wireless telecommunication devices sold in Nepal must obtain approval from NTA prior to import. NTA is implementing model type certification regulations for communication devices based on reports and conformity certificates issued by manufacturers or NTA-designated international standardization organizations/international certification bodies.

The certificate of conformity can be applied by the manufacturer or local representative, however when a product that has received the certificate of conformity is sold in Nepal, a local business must be present.

- GSM/IMT-2000/IMT Advanced
- CDMA
- DECT
- tltcom devices used to connect to Mobile or PSTN Networks
- Low Power Devices (LPD) Short Range Devices (SRD), WLAN, Bluetooth and other 802.11x standard devices (max) EIRP&1W Max Transmitter Power, Freq: 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz
