Laos
Department of Standards and Metrology (DOSM) is Laos’ certificate system. This certification system is applied to Laos regulator import products (cement, building materials, Electrical and Electronic devices, etc.). Prior to the inspection of imported goods conducted by the DOSM, importers are required to submit a Certificate of analysis or standard certification relevant from the exporting countries.
If the product is subject to regulation (building materials, petroleum materials, electrical and electronic products, etc.), it is required to hand in a declaration of conformity issued by the exporting country or a conformity certificate issued by a certification body or an import inspection body.
