Office Tchadien de Régulation des Télécommunications (OTRT)
OTRT is Chad’s certification for wired and wireless communications. In order to import and use communication devices such as telephones, portable terminals and walkie-talkies used in Chad must be approved by the Chad Communications Regulatory Authority. The Chad telecommunications equipment approval body is OTRT (Office Tchadien de Régulation des Télécommunications), and since Chad does not have its own test laboratory, a report from an accredited test laboratory issued according to international standards is required.
If you submit the report and application documents from internationally accredited testing laboratories such as FCC to OTRT, an approval letter will be issued after reviewing the documents.
