Agence de Régulation et de Contrôle des Télécommunications (ARCT)
ARCT is Burundi's telecommunications certification. Telecommunications terminals capable of connecting to public networks in Burundi must be approved by the Burundian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. Burundi's communication equipment approval body is ARCT (Agence de Regulation et de Controle des Telecommunications), and since Burundi does not have its own test laboratory, a report from an accredited test laboratory issued according to international standards is required. Report and application documents from an internationally accredited testing laboratory such as FCC to ARCT are also acceptable, and an approval letter will be issued after reviewing the documents.
