Autorite Transitoire de Regulation des Postes et Télécommunications (ATRPT)
ATRPT is Benin's telecommunications certification. Telecommunication terminals that transmit, receive and process telecommunications signals for the purpose of connecting to public telecommunication networks in Benin must be approved by ATRPT. Since Benin doesn’t have its own testing laboratory, a test report from an accredited test laboratory issued according to international standards is required. When submitted a report or other documents from an international accredited testing laboratory such as FCC and ATRPT, an approval letter will be issued after reviewing the documents.
