MTIT is Yemen’s Telecommunications Certification system. All telecommunication devices sold or used must be approved by the Yemen Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. MTIT is the Communications and Information Technology in Yemen, and since Yemen does not have its own testing laboratory, a report issued according to international standards from an accredited testing laboratory is required. When a report and application document from internationally accredited testing such as FCC and CE is submitted to MTIT, an approval letter will be issued after reviewing the documents.
