Electrical safety

Electrical and Electronic Appliances distributed in Ukraine that run on AC50-1000V and DC75-1500V require a DoC which the manufacturer or its authorized local agent declares conformity to the applicable technical regulations. A DoC needs to declare the name and address of the manufacturer (or local representative), product specification and Ukrainian test standards which are harmonized with European standards.
Manufacturers

Including but not limited to DoC, manufacturers are required to include general specifications, drawings, circuit diagrams, electronic components, test reports of electrical equipment. In addition to this, the authorized local agent needs to keep a technical document for 10 years from the last distribution of the product since it is obliged to submit if the document is requested. If foreign manufacturers do not have a local representative in Ukraine, the person who distributes the products to Ukraine will be obliged to hand in the document and certification mentioned above.

Target products:
Electrical and Electronic appliances which runs on AC50-1000V, DC75-1500V

Excluding:
1) Electrical equipment intended for use in environments which are 2) Risk in explosions
3) Medical Electrical equipments
4) Electrical parts specifically for elevators
5) Control device for Electric fence
6) Wireless Electronic noise
7) Special electric devices used in marine, air, and rail transportation that meet the safety requirements of international organizations

Electromagnetic waves:

Target products:
Devices which may be affected by electromagnetic disturbances or cause electromagnetic disturbances

Excluding:
1) Wired and wireless communication devices
2) Aircraft equipment and components
3) Radio equipment used by radio amateurs under international agreements
4) Devices collected or modified by radio amateurs

Wired/Wireless communication

Target products:
Wired/Wireless communication device (radio equipment and telecommunication terminal equipment)

Excluding:
1) Wireless devices and telecommunication terminal devices in the strict sense used only for purposes related to maintaining public order and security
2) Radio Equipment used by amateurs to receive precise time and frequency signals
3) Cables and wires
4) Equipments which provide authorization only for reception of radio and television broadcast programs
5) Equipments subjected to Technical Regulations for Marine Equipment N1103 approved by Ukraine Ministry of September 5, 2007
6) Air traffic control equipment and systems (communication, monitoring, automatic dispatch, navigation, etc.)
