CCC (China Compulsory Certificate, aka. 3C)
CCC (China Compulsory Certificate, aka. 3C) is a certification system which is compulsory by law, with the national responsibility to protect the rights and interests of consumers, personal safety, property, safety, etc.

Products included in compulsory items must obtain CCC certification in order to be imported into China. If there is no certification, sales, imports, shipments, and customs clearance in China are impossible.

Products listed in the compulsory items to go through CCC must obtain this certificate in order to be imported into China. Without this certification, sales, imports, shipment and custom clearance is unaccepted.

Certification Procedure:

1) The applicant applies for testing and certification on paper or through the website.
2) CCIC reviews the contents of the application online and requests supplementation if necessary.
3) The applicant sends the compensating contents or document online or in person
4) Tests are conducted at designated laboratories.
5) If items are non-comforming or need to be supplemented from the test results, applicants would need to make up for it.
6) After the test is done, the Head office of CCIC or CCIC Korea branch would send an auditor to do a factory inspection.
7) If there are any supplementary matters during the factory inspection, the applicant needs to be supplemented.
8) When the test is completed samples can be returned.
9) If there is also no problem from the factory inspection, expenses will need to be paid for the required testing and certification.
10) After the expenses are checked, the CCC can be received by the applicant by mail.
SRRC
SRRC

From 1st June, 1999 China's Ministry of Information Industry (MII) implemented a compulsory certification system for communication products targeting specific wired and wireless devices. Since unapproved telecommunications products are prohibited from being sold in China, wireless products sold or used in China must be State Radio Regulation of China (SRRC) certified.

Target Product:
Navigation, Radar, Remote Control, Cell phone, telemetry, broadcasting and television, etc. covering 27 types of products.
NAL
NAL (Network Access License) is a wire and wireless communication device approval system which The Ministry of Information Industry (MII) of China has created for items subjected to NAL.

Targeted products:
1) Telegraph Facilities (12) - General Equipment
Fixed telephone terminal, wireless telephone terminal, group telephone, fax machine, modem (including card), programmer controlled user switcher device, mobile user terminal, BP device, ISDN terminal, data terminal (including card), multimedia terminal, and other tele- Terminal device

2) Wireless Telegraphy Facilities (3) - Wireless base station, microwave communication device, satellite base station

3) High-end Equipment (13) - Optical transmission equipment, digital programming controlled transmission system, communication equipment, intelligent network equipment, synchronism network, network access device, Frame Relay Exchange Machine, ATM exchanger, multi-function exchange system, router device, IP gateway & network Switches, data communication devices/BP center facilities
CFDA
CFDA - China Food & Drug Administration

The grades for Medical devices are classified into 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes. For overseas medical devices which acquire CFDA medical device certification, manufacturers must use designated organizations in China as their deputy. Further on, foreign manufacturers must take reference in medical device sales and follow-up of a chinese company or China’s corresponding qualifications. Medical products through the medical device registration system which are sold and used in China must obtain CFDA certification.

Target Product:
Medical device system, oxygen saturation meter, electromyography and evoked reaction diagnostics, endoscope, ventilator, high-pressure steam sterilizer, respiratory monitor, blood pressure monitor, infusion pump, etc.
