SLS

SLS is a product certification system that guarantees the quality of goods to consumers and third parties. Under the permission from Sri Lanka Standard Institute (SLSI) this system allows manufacturers to put SLS mark on their products. Target Products: Food, Electrical Appliances, Cement, Steel Products, PVC Products and more

TRC

TRC is Sri Lanka’s Telecommunication Certification. The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) operates certification of Conformity for telecommunication and wireless equipment, and under Sri Lanka’s Telecommunication Act, communication devices imported into Sri Lanka must obtain the certificate of conformity. Target Products: Telephone devices, fax machines, PABXs, modems, cordless phones (frequency, base station power and range must be verified), and other customer networks/IT connected to licensed networks (Customer-premises equipment)

SLSEA

SLSEA is Sri Lanka's energy efficiency labeling scheme. This system is operated optionally for imports and manufacturers of compact fluorescent lamps and magnetic ballasts (compulsory items to undergo COC). Target products must comply with Sri Lanka standards (SLS 1225:2002 - CFLs and SLS 122 (Magnetic Ballasts), and sample testing can be conducted upon request. Target Products: Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs), Magnetic Ballast.
