NCC
NCC (National Communications Commission), and for type approval of telecommunications terminals, manufacturers must be certified by NCC or a recognized certification body (RCB). Target Products: Communication devices using mobile communication standards, Global Mobile Radio Systems (GMS), Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), Long Term Evolution (LTE), wireless devices (e.g. keyboard, mouse) and products with Bluetooth functions, etc.
TFDA
Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) is the Ministry of Health and Welfare and regulates the registration and sales of medical devices in Taiwan. Therefore, before importing medical devices to Taiwan, permission needs to be obtained from TFDA. The approval review is divided into in vitro diagnostic reagents and non-vitro diagnostic reagents, and is classified into 1st class, 2nd class, 3rd class, and newly developed medical devices. Target Products: Medical devices classified by function, use, method of use, principle, etc. (17 items)
