BSB is a compulsory certification system for plumbing materials, electrical and electronic products, steel and construction-related materials in Bhutan. Since 2010, all products including locally produced and imported products of the following material/products must go through factory inspection procedures. Target Product: Reinforcing rod, Cement, Water Supply Piping and Fittings, Roof Sheets, Water Tanks, Red Bricks, Concrete and Stabilized Soil Cement Blocks, Gear Shifting and Control Gears, Wires and Cables, Electrical Switches and Fittings, Water Heaters.
