The second day of the "The Experience of Korea E-mobility" event marked another insightful exploration into the electric mobility sector. The day commenced with a series of engaging activities that provided delegates with a closer look into the intricacies of this transformative industry.

The highlight of the morning was an external visit that offered a firsthand experience of microtruck production at DPECO, the manufacturer of Potro Microtrucks. The visit was led by CEO Mr. Song Shin Keun and Klive Ahn, who oversees the Overseas Sales Division. Both dignitaries provided an informative overview of the company's history and the distinct features that define Potro's Microtrucks. The microtrucks, available in two models with cargo capacities of 250 kg (P250) and 350 kg (P350), presented a compelling solution for urban cargo delivery. Participants were given the opportunity to closely observe the production process and even test drive the microtrucks.

Following a productive morning, the event continued with a deep dive into Gangwon State's policies concerning e-mobility and the future trajectory of the automotive industry. The lecture was skillfully presented by Mr. Kim Tae-hoon, Head of Future Automobile Industry in the Strategic Industry Division of Gangwon State. The presentation shed light on the region's strategic investments that have propelled Gangwon State into a pivotal role in Korea's automotive landscape. Particular emphasis was placed on the creation of an industrial cluster for e-mobility, a strategic move that has attracted significant industry players to the state. Mr. Tae-hoon also illuminated the pioneering research initiatives backed by the state, particularly in the areas of automotive safety solutions, auto parts manufacturing, and forward-looking strategies for automotive innovation. The lecture took place at Gangwon Technopark, under the hosting of Director Man-Joung Kim and Mr. Wang-gyu Kim from the Park's Policy Planning Agency.
